The first Thanksgiving festivities were celebrated in Plymouth, Massachusetts in spring of 1621 .  Today, it is one of the most awaited holidays in the United States, where family and friends gather to commemorate a tradition that started over 300 years ago. Thanksgiving is fast approaching again and the kids are the most excited brood of them all. This also is the perfect time of the year for homeschool parents to educate their homeschooled children about the historical routes of the festivity. Moreover, to make Thanksgiving engaging to the kids, parents can incorporate homeschool Thanksgiving activities into their curriculum. The article provides a list of printer projects with Thanksgiving themes that can be used as homeschool materials. These materials can be downloaded and printed from several sources online for free.

Thanksgiving coloring pages. Kids are drawn to visual images. They are particularly fascinated by animated images and shapes. Make Thanksgiving fun for the kids!
