Question by Don: US Constitution Crossword Puzzle?
My daughter has a homework crossword puzzle with one clue that we can’t figure out. The topic of the puzzle is the US Constitution. The clue in question is:
Legislative or “________” branch
That’s the whole clue, and the quotes are part of the clue, not my own additions. So we are thinking that they are looking for a slangy or other word for legislative.
It’s nine letter word with W in the third position and N in the eighth.
